Scouts, Seymour team up to provide river access launch site

SEYMOUR — Residents looking to kayak or canoe down the Housatonic River finally have a launching pad.
Thanks to a recent Eagle Scout project, courtesy of Scouts Justin Gittings and Dustin Zrelak, a launch was created at Four Mile Brook in the Keith Mitchell Forest, near Roosevelt Drive and Squantuck Road.
