DERBY — For patients in a hospital, a visit from a representative from their religious congregation can provide comfort.
But because of a recent change at Griffin Hospital, information on patients’ congregations hadn’t been collected when they arrived for about a month.
That meant no notification to congregation representatives, and therefore, no visits, according to a Eucharistic minister who complained about the change.
