ANSONIA — More than 230 people in a remote village in southwestern India now have clean water thanks to donations from the Rotary Club.
The families, who make up about 55 households, live in Jogireddypalli in the Kolar province.
That’s according to Cathy Forsberg, who founded the nonprofit South Asia Pure Water Initiative of Hamden with her husband, Mike Lipman, in 2005.
