SEYMOUR — Veteran Seymour High School teacher Mary Deming will walk in her fifth marathon for breast cancer later this year just because she can.
“I am walking for so many reasons,” Deming said. “I walk to honor those who have shown such courage and strength in their battle to win the war cancer has waged on their lives. I walk because of hope. I walk because I believe in a world without breast cancer.”
