Main Street traffic flow plan unveiled for Derby

DERBY — A long-awaited vision of improved traffic flow on Main Street was unveiled at a public hearing Tuesday at City Hall.
About 40 people attended the hearing on the reconstruction of Route 34. It was held by the state Department of Transportation and the Valley Council of Governments.
DOT employee Robert W. Ike, hearing moderator, stressed the plan was in a preliminary design phase. “No final decisions have been made. We’re here for your input.”
