SHELTON — The Valley United Way is ready to reap what volunteers sow next month to benefit Harvest House IV.
Volunteers will assemble a 400-square-foot structure Sept. 24 at the Riverwalk.
Pat Tarasovic, director of the Valley United Way Volunteer Center, said students from Emmett O’Brien Regional High School in Ansonia designed the wood-frame house. The goal is to stock the shelves with 100,000 nonperishable food items.
